Our transport division, APL Direct, transports aluminium, glass and associated products throughout New Zealand.

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our Stores Team at our convenient Te Rapa depot. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with a company that provides high-quality products across New Zealand we're the company for you. We're searching for someone like you who is ready to learn and grow in a new team.

Please note that this role is a night shift role.

The role works with our Aluminium Fleet based in Te Rapa. Primarily Monday - Friday, on our night shift 7.00pm - early hours of the morning.

The Role involves:

  • Loading aluminium and components from our logistics centre onto trucks in a safe and secure manner
  • Ensuring that correct and accurate documentation is maintained
  • Organise and check for the accuracy of all outward freight movements, ensuring relevant documentation is maintained
  • Ensuring that the store area is always kept tidy and presentable

We are searching for someone like you, who has:

  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that all products leaving the depot are of the highest quality
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Impeccable safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and lateral thinking
  • Fit and willing to manually process hardware cartons and doors
