Glazing Supervisor

Metro Performance Glass is New Zealand's leading supplier of glass to the building industry; we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and service, focusing on our customers' needs and our ability to lead the market.

Our team in Christchurch are looking for an experienced supervisor / leader to join our team of glass installation specialists.

Ideally you will already have 5+ years experience as a leader in the construction industry, and be looking to potentially move to a more senior role to lead the organisation and coordination of work for our glazing teams and subcontractors to ensure the smooth running of projects.

This position would suit an energetic individual who is keen to develop a career in site/project management work.

Prior experience within the building/construction industry is essential, and experience as a supervisor or team leader would be advantageous, although not essential.

Training and development will be provided in return for your enthusiasm to learn and your drive to excel.

• Experience in construction industry running high performing teams
• Skilled in working accurately with measurements with high levels of attention to detail
• Strong health and safety focus
• Good level of physical fitness with a current NZ driver's license
• A practical approach to solving problems with the ability think on your feet and prioritize your work, without dropping the ball
• Great communication skills with the ability to talk to people from all walks of life.
• Superb attention to detail and high quality standards to deliver all our customers top notch products and service.
