Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for a Part Time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) Paediatric Respiratory
Specialist to join our Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury Child
Health Service. Paediatric sleep training is preferred but not essential. You will
be responsible for the care of children with subspecialty paediatric
respiratory and sleep conditions as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will
have close working relationships with other subspecialty and general paediatric
colleagues.
There is the potential for a suitably qualified
applicant to have an academic appointment of up to 0.2 FTE within the Department
of Paediatrics, University of Otago, Christchurch(UOC). The UOC
Department of Paediatrics, which was established in
1972, has played a leading role in the development of teaching, research and
professional training for Paediatrics and Child Health in New Zealand.
