ONLINE/GROCERY ASSISTANT


The Online/Grocery Assistant will plan and organize the day-to-day picking, packing, and processing and delivery of all online shopping customer orders and working in the Grocery department.


We are looking for someone who can:

  • Ensure all items picked, packed, processed and invoiced for a customer's order is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure orders are labelled and checked, stored securely (within staging area), recorded and temperature checked in accordance with Online store policies and operational procedures within a timely manner.
  • Ensure lockers are empty and clean after each allocated timeslot, where necessary returning uncollected orders to the appropriate storage areas within the staging area
  • Ensure housekeeping/cleaning responsibilities and schedules for the staging area, lockers, online equipment, and vehicles are maintained and adhered to.
  • Assist loading delivery vehicle if required, ensuring that goods are secure and tidy.
  • Communicate with customers to advise of out of stocks, substitutions and any other information that is relevant to their order.
  • When required, deliver a customer's online shopping order to their designated address on the nominated day and time, in a timely, safe manner.
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good basic Maths and sound computer skills
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask consistently to meet deadlines.
  • Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
  • Have a current clean,
    full driver's license.
