We are seeking a passionate teacher for our centre. Our centre has three classrooms, Kākano which caters for our children that are two and under, Paiaka that caters for children aged between two and four years, and Māhuri which caters for our oldest children aged between four and six.

As a part of our emphasis on nurturing positive growth for tamariki, and a nice working environment for kaiako we offer lower than Ministry required teacher-child ratios.

We are a small, privately owned centre that respects and values teachers and their personal growth.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • Be a fully qualified Early Childhood teacher
  • Be flexible and have initiative
  • Contribute to group and individual programme planning, child observations and assessment, and all aspects of centre life
  • Role model best practice and professionalism whilst being fun and energetic
  • Be a team player in a supportive environment
  • Provide high-quality educational environments and experiences for tamariki
  • Be familiar with primary caregiving and a free movement environment
