Team:
What we do

The
CDHB Maintenance and Engineering Department looks after the maintenance of all
buildings, grounds, services and non-clinical equipment in Christchurch and the
surrounding area.
The

Role:
Where you fit in

In
this role you will be mainly based at Christchurch Hospital, however flexibility
to work in other Christchurch hospitals is required. We are looking for a plumber
to join the Maintenance and Engineering Department, where you will be
responsible for repairing and maintaining the hydraulics systems.
You

will be responsible for:

  • Maintain and repair reticulated heating, hot water, potable water
and associated pumping systems, ventilation, air-conditioning and other
reticulated piped systems

  • Maintenance and repairs of general Hospital equipmentYour

skills will include:

  • A qualified trade certificate is desirable
  • Registration with the NZ Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drain layers
board

  • Experience working in a 24hour operative environment would be
preferable

  • Building Management systems experience (beneficial)
  • Knowledge of reticulated services such as water, steam, condensate,
compressed air

  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Intermediate skills in the Microsoft suite e.g. Word, Outlook,
ExcelOur
