The University of Waikato (UoW) Adams Centre for High Performance is the epicentre of cutting edge sports science, research and technology, putting Tauranga on the map for high performance sport.


We are home to the NZ Rugby Sevens, Bay of Plenty Steamers & Volcanix, Northern Districts Cricket, The north island Black Caps training base, BOP Magic and a satellite base for UoWs sports science and human performance department.


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Strength and Conditioning Coach to continue growing the success of the Adams Academy - a programme designed to support our local high-performance athletes and those with high-performance aspirations and potential.


You will be assisting with the growth and management of all aspects of the Adams Academy programme, as well as representing the UoW Adams Centre on a local, regional, and national scale from a Strength and Conditioning perspective.


You will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with athlete development personnel from both national and regional sporting organisations and be part of the high-performance environment at the Centre, which is focused on innovation and knowledge sharing.


If you understand how to develop and implement successful athlete development programmes to create winners on the national and international stage, then this could be the role for you.
