As a Health Care Assistant, we offer you the opportunity to join our highly motived and professional team in the Transit Lounge at Wellington Regional Hospital.


Transit Lounge is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week unit which aims to facilitate Hospital Flow via accommodating anticipated discharging and transferring patients from acute ward areas.

Transit Lounge accommodates clinic assessments and day case procedures. Our service supports open, honest, communication and dynamic professional development of all teams
