ROLE SUMMARY:

English Teacher - permanent, part-time to commence term 3 2024

  • ACG Strathallan is an exceptional coeducational, nondenominational independent school situated in the beautiful Karaka, Auckland. Our mission is to deliver an enriching holistic education that caters to the needs of 1250 students, spanning from Preschool through Year 13. At ACG Strathallan, we take pride in fostering a warm and nurturing environment where every student can thrive.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Teach English, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
  • Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
  • Participate in wider school activities.
  • Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
  • Experience in teaching English in a secondary school curriculum to a high standard.
  • Wellprepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
  • Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
