  • A fast-learner with at least 6-months sole-charge Operator experience of rotary die cutting and/or flexographic folding and gluing machinery, within the corrugated packaging industry.
  • Knowledgeable about boxmaking, printing and die cutting technology.

  • Ideally, have some experience within a food safe packaging environment.

We offer:

  • Hourly rate: $29.66 per hour
  • Pay increases as you progress through your training.
  • We pay penal rates for overtime (40 hours+)
  • Guaranteed allowances for afternoon & night shift work (5 shifts per week minimum):
  • Service Allowance payable once you met the continuous employment criteria.
  • Staff benefits: Superannuation (company contribution of 5% if you are eligible), Life Insurance, Disability Income Protection Insurance, Free basic medical cover.
  • Free onsite parking
  • Full PPE provided & ongoing training.
  • Assistance in completing Core Manufacturing Level 2 Qualifications through Competenz

The role:

  • 40 hours minimum per week
  • Setup, control, and drive performance of the production machine line KPIs.
  • Consistently monitor, adjust, and regulate operation to maintain specification and quality of output.
  • To optimise equipment performance by maintaining a clean workspace and area, effect accurate setups, and perform minor repairs as required.
  • Identify and promptly report any unsafe behaviour, hazards, and events.
