As an Electrical Fitter, your safety and that of others around you is your number one priority.

You'll be joining an experienced team where you will be carrying an extra high voltage cable assets and electrical equipment within the Transmission environment.

Tasks include assembly and fit out of electrical equipment, electrical testing, LV cable jointing, terminating and equipment switching to isolate or restore electrical equipment to service.

To be considered for this role you'll need to be an experienced Electrical Fitter, have a certificate in or working towards Electrical Engineer, plus EWRB registration and a current practising licence.

- You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in Substation 11KV to 110KV in Construction or Maintenance
  • NZQA Level 4 or equivalent


Class
  • Full Drivers Licence
  • Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job and an eye for detail
  • Great verbal and written communication skills, with basic technology knowledge
  • A strong commitment to health and safety and a great attitude and a willingness to be part of a team
