Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity
As the Team Lead of Security Operations you will provide leadership and mentoring to the Security

Operations Centre Engineers / Analysts and serve as final escalation point for the running of Security Operations, both Technical and business

  • Manage a team of Tier one and two Security Engineers/Analysts
  • Personal development and establishing a line between your direct reports and the wider business
  • In major cyber incidents you will be required to both delegate tasks and directly respond via SIEM/XDR analysis, malware analysis and digital forensics
  • Evaluate new and existing security products, translating this into implementation & protection against current and emerging threats
  • You will be required to maintain an in depth understanding of Security Operations processes and the development of better, more effective ways of working

Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako - Skills & Experience

  • Preferably previously held a leadership position. You have a passion for people development, a strong relationship builder and a confident speaker with the ability to drive change
  • 5+ Years' working in a Security Operations Centre or a highpaced cybersecurity team in a large, complex environment
  • 7+ Years' experience with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, Log Forwarding (Splunk Preferred)
  • Handson experience in dealing with major Cyber Incidents such as DDOS, Ransomware, Breaches as well as Threat Hunting
