Full time RASNZ is offering a unique opportunity for two trauma informed psychologists to work at the heart of New Zealand's refugee sector.
One role is at the Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre and the other is in our Mobile Team at Onehunga.We offer:

Our clinical staff work across two teams:1.
The unique Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre is a joint agency hub for assessment, brief intervention, and onward referral to resettlement regions.
2.Our vibrant community based mobile team provides assessment and treatment to former refugees settled in Auckland.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE PREFERREDTwo years' clinical experience. Competence in assessment, formulation, and intervention for clients who have experienced trauma. A background of working with culturally and linguistically diverse clients.The ability to liaise and work with a range of organisations and agencies.
A willingness to learn what may be new aspects to your professional role (e.g., working with interpreters)The confidence to participate in research, capacity building, and training for staff from other agencies who work with refugee clients.
New Zealand professional body registration.Experience with children and young people is an advantage.
Driver's license.
