The opportunity

We are seeking a Registered nurse, who has a passion and knowledge to underpin nursing practice.

In addition, having nursing experience in any area of mental health, acute medical / surgical or primary health nursing practice will give you an opportunity to use your skills and share your experience to pass on to the next generation of Nurses.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Please see the attached position description for more detail.

Skills and Experience


  • Postgraduate qualification preferable
  • Have Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ as a Registered Nurse and a Current Practising Certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years post registration experience and a background in general nursing skills
  • Research active or a keen interest in research
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
  • Adult Teaching Qualification or be working towards one.
