Introduction:

Victoria Mt Eden Limited, trading as Wesley Home and Care Mt Eden, provides an exceptional level of care along with life-quality enhancements all under one roof, including a hair and beauty salon, a restaurant dining lounge, and three additional lounge areas for the residents to enjoy.

Currently, we are seeking experienced Caretakers to join our team.

Key Task & Responsibilities:

• Filling out registration forms for retirement patients and providing tenants with copies of rules
• Filling out and issuing receipts for the tenant
• Cleaning common facilities in the rest home, grounds and back gardens, replacing light bulbs, checking fire hoses and extinguishers, and performing other cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Notifying building management and owners of buildings of the need for repairs
• Assist healthcare assistant with lifting, pushing of wheelchair, or any other physical help for the tenants
• Purchasing cleaning supplies for rest home.

The minimum qualification and work experience requirements:

• NZQF Level 1 qualification or compulsory secondary education
