PURPOSE
To organize and oversee the despatch processes for The Produce Company's despatch division to ensure deliveries are coordinated effectively.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure despatch systems and plans are all organized for maximum efficiency.
  • Resolve any issues which may result from the deliveries and develop plans to ensure they are minimized.
  • Coordinate the despatch process, account for any abrupt changes to delivery schedule, and ensure high customer service standards are consistently maintained.
  • Assist the Despatch manager with overseeing despatch team.
  • Assist the Despatch manager with implementing innovation solutions to changes in delivery plans and ensure contingency plans can be implemented.
  • Assist the Despatch manager with monitoring, identifying and improving the despatch loading process. Perform the final check on the quality of all deliveries dispatched.
  • Ensure all incidents related to quality, unexpected deliveries and other outstanding issues are recorded. Assist the Despatch manager in organizing incident records, develop and implement alternative plans to resolve issues.
  • Ensure despatch productivity is maximized and collectively increases the growth of the business and aligns with the company's objectives.
  • Consider options for marketing strategies and evaluate the possibility of implementing these strategies based on the current levels of output.
  • Consider and provide suggestions for the improvement of marketing plans based on the relevant insight for the allocated department.
  • Relieve any absent drivers to ensure despatch requirements are met, ensure customer service prioritized.
  • Any other tasks may be assigned from time to time as assigned by the employer.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Full Class 2 Drivers License.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Education and Training.
  • First Response.
  • Leadership/ Supervisor experience.

Other Details:

Minimum work hours : 30 per week
