The role. What you will do.

With considerable recent project wins and increased future workload, our busy and dynamic team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer in the Water Sector with demonstrated expertise in wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water systems to join our innovative and motivated team of engineers based in our Auckland office.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team this opportunity would see you providing support and mentorship to build the capacity of junior Engineers. You would also be responsible for preparing concept and detailed civil engineering designs, producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules on a range of projects.

You would work in close partnership with our Graduate, Senior and Principal Engineers, clients and contractors through design phases and into construction monitoring. Your contribution will help to improve access to three waters infrastructure, public health, and the local environment through the projects we deliver.

Using your skills and experience to mentor more junior members, this role will be pivotal in further developing our existing team and is a fantastic opportunity to progress your technical and management skills through project work and on-site experience, with great prospects for career progression.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil) and ideally be a CPEng or working towards chartership. Additionally, you would have strong industry experience and proficiency in one or more of potable water, stormwater and wastewater design. You should also have experience working in multidisciplinary teams, supporting and mentoring junior engineers, and a working understanding of hydraulics in civil design of three waters reticulation. Familiarity with 3D modelling design software would also be advantageous but not mandatory.
