Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Interpret engineering plans and blueprints to determine drainage layouts and specifications.
  • Excavate trenches and prepare the groundwork for drainage installations.
  • Install pipes, culverts, manholes, and other drainage components according to project requirements.
  • Ensure proper grading and slope for effective water flow.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and resolve drainage issues, leaks, or blockages.
  • Collaborate with a team to complete projects within specified timelines.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Drainlayer.
  • Proven experience working as a Drainlayer in the construction industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of drainage systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and blueprints.
  • Proficient in operating drainage equipment, tools, and machinery.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Safetyconscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
