Currently, our busy Christchurch branch is looking for a full-time
Sales Technician to join their crew.

Key Criteria

• To be business focused with strong organisational skills, to be able to manage and review resource allocations to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness whilst delivering superior levels of service to our customers.
• A high level of attention to detail with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Technical knowledge of light commercial vehicles or motorhomes with the ability to coach, train and develop others in this area.
• Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to influence staff positively and excellent judgment to meet the (sometimes conflicting) needs of a range of B2B and B2C customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor timely flow of all vehicles through Service Centre including private, sold, and vehicles to be prepared for sale. Control workflow and adjust priorities to meet daily objectives.
• Liaison with Sales Consultants and the Service Advisor to accurately book jobs and maximise the efficiency of the workshop.
• Communicate daily work plan and ensure effective communication with all relevant departments and personnel as required.
• Restore vehicles as part of the refurbishment programme to prescribed standards.
• Dealing with the Sales Department priorities including sold vehicles for delivery in the yard.
• Drive the Service Centre Team to achieve productivity targets and a high standard of workmanship.
• Review fleet preparation by the workshop team and arrange or inspect the quality of repairs before the release of vehicles.
• Contribute to and promote culture development, staff coaching and personal development.
• Quality Control ensuring standards of cleanliness are maintained in accordance with the company standards working in a face paced environment.
• Train and motivate staff to work as a productive, efficient and qualitydriven team.
• Actively participate in the thl Health and Safety system.
• Other duties as required.
