We currently have a newly created opportunity to join our Range Planning team as a Space Management Analyst.


You will be instrumental in the development and implementation of space management strategies, and will have the satisfaction of quickly seeing the positive impact of your solutions in stores.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the category team in regards to scheduling updated planograms in line with Range Review schedule and market and category trends to deliver market leading solutions
  • Review, optimise & select ranges in conjunction with category teams
  • Identify gaps in the existing Space Management process through your analysis and provide tailored solutions in line with the overarching business strategy, and to drive continual improvement in our use of space
  • Manage project work associated with space planning and transform sites through effective planning and working with stakeholders to deliver clear outcomes that will shape future transformational growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Property & Operations teams and integrate feedback into the development process to maintain a high standard of space utilisation strategies.

Highly regarded skills and experience include:

  • Experience and understanding of best practice in project management and space management processes, in particular product adjacency and decision making
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with Space Planning software such as JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo, Spaceman
  • Visual merchandising exposure in a general Retail or Automotive retail setting
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities/deadlines with outcomes that are both customer and business focused.
  • Stakeholder relationship building & influencing skills through strong communication
