Reporting to the Fire Sprinkler Manager, the purpose of this role to direct and lead by example, through effective and motivated leadership the Sprinkler Site Installation Team made up of Leading Hands, Sprinkler Fitters, Apprentices, Trade Assistants and Specialist Subcontractors to ensure we provide quality Sprinkler Installations to all our clients.

To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant New Zealand professional or technical tertiary qualifications
  • Sprinkler background with an understanding of design or estimating skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in the Fire Protection industry preferable with a Sprinklers background in an installation environment
  • NZ Qualification in Sprinklers
  • 5 years post trade experience
  • Ability to scope and price Sprinkler remedial works, quoted jobs in the $5k to $50k range.
  • Proven experience in supervising a Sprinkler Installation Team with a passion for always delivering high quality customer satisfaction.
  • Intimate knowledge of relevant New Zealand Sprinkler Standards
  • Manage projects to ensure specifications and quality systems are met.
  • Be a leader: oversee, direct and delegate appropriate tasks to filters and helpers as needed to fulfil project completions deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by Fire Sprinkler Manager.
