About the role:
Ideally, you will have some experience in either manual or automation testing and you will test and qualify products and have the opportunity to have a big impact in building the test automation capabilities in the organisation, including testing methodology, test automation design, execution and coordinating bug reporting and resolution.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the QA and Appliance Development teams to design and implement test plans and execute test cases
- Participate in the building of automation frameworks and automation tool selection
- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts
- Develop automation test processes and procedures in conjunction with the QA and Development teams
- Provide guidance and support to QA and Development team members on automation development and execution
- Working with the QA manager to develop and implement the QA test infrastructure
About you:
- Previous experience in manual or automation testing
- Excellent knowledge of computer and operating systems including Linux and Windows
- In depth knowledge of system and software testing methodologies
- Good knowledge of telecommunications
