One of New Zealand's leading building suppliers who have been involved in the industry is looking for Yards people in Christchurch sites to help with the increased demand in the construction industry that is happening around the Canterbury region.

Working in the yard you will be an essential member of a small team that is driven and responsible for delivering excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Forklift operating
  • Loading & unloading trucks/trade customers vehicles
  • Dispatching orders
  • Manually picking orders
  • Assisting with stock counts
  • Providing product advice and making alternative recommendations to customers
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Putting away building materials

You will:

  • Have a valid forklift license
  • Have a full New Zealand Driver's license (F endorsement is a plus)
  • Have experience in the building supplies industry
  • Have proven attention to detail and reliability
  • Be able to lift up to 25KG
  • Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
