The Opportunity


We are looking for a
Renewals Manager for the Marlborough Roads to lead the successful integrated delivery of, area wide pavement treatments, re-surfacing (Reseals and asphalt renewals) and Drainage renewals, to ensure work activities are planned, programmed, optimised and cost efficient.


Key Tasks

  • The management and delivery of variation works associated with the underpinned programme.
  • The management and coordination of associated physical resources including plant, labour and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the integrated delivery of all associated work on the network, including, programming and financial management.
  • Drive quality outcomes required by the contract specification.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timeframes and drive commercial and program delivery outcomes.
  • Work closely with asset management team and customer to optimize delivery.

What

you'll need to Succeed

  • BE or NZCE or significant industry experience
  • Safety related certification
  • Understanding of job pricing including materials, labour and plant and associated margin/profit calculations
  • Familiar with contract legislation and standards i

e:
NZS 3917, Construction Contracts Act, NEC Contracts

  • Understanding of operational management including HR, Finance, Administration, Technical (engineering) and Constructability
  • Keep up to date with industry practices
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Current drivers licence
  • Organized detailed planner
  • RAMM experience advantageous
