Hours:
Casual, shift work - 11pm to 7am

About the role
- This role supports the Midland Region and is based in Hamilton.
- The purpose of the position is to work alongside disabled children and their families, create a fun, positive homely environment to nurture children's needs on short breaks away from home.
- The support provided will foster positive relationships between families, and those using the service, other CCS Disability Action staff and ensure a friendly and flexible service which meets the needs of those who use the service.
- We value employee wellbeing and provide access to free independent counselling services.
About you
- You will enjoy working with children or in a in a team setting.
- You will hold or be willing to attain a New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing
- Level 2 (or above) and a relevant First Aid certification.
- Experience in a service delivery organisation and understanding of the disability sector would be an advantage.
- An allround night owl, able and willing to turn your hand to any task, not fazed by personal cares, and calm under pressure.
