About the role

Are you a quick learner and experienced in using 'Opera' software? If so, this could be the role for you
M Social Hotel Auckland is looking for an experienced and committed person to join our Reservations team.

This position requires someone with enthusiasm and initiative to deliver exceptional service and perform the duties of the role with precision and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and efficient communication with internal and external clients
• Making FIT bookings
• Assist with new employee training and ongoing interdepartment training
• Prepare and update various key revenue and tracking reports
• Prepare and distribute proposals, contracts and proforma invoices
• Conduct site inspections with clients
• Assisting Reservations Team in both Group Reservations and the Reservations Manager as required
• Responds to all guest FIT reservations requests & executes courteous, prompt and accurate service at all times
• Understand and enforce company credit policies and ensure billing instructions, routing instructions and payment methods are applied to the reservations

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a reservations hotel role
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a great telephone manner
• A high level of computer literacy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Selfmotivated and target driven
• Attention to detail
• Experience with Opera or similar system is preferred
