Our client is trusted in their industry for servicing Elevated Work Platform (EWP) equipment, as well as other access and civil equipment.

They're growing quickly with big goals, and we're looking for a Parts & Service Technician to join their Auckland team.


The Role
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Parts & Service Technician to join the team.

This role involves conducting repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics to keep the fleet in top condition, contributing to the smooth operation of industries that rely on access equipment.

The day to day is varied and consists of parts replacement and repairs/servicing, but could include:


  • Equipment Diagnostics: Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues by inspecting and testing EWP equipment to identify problems accurately.

Repairs and Maintenance: Performing repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks on EWP machinery to resolve issues promptly and ensure operational excellence.

Parts Replacement: Replacing faulty or worn-out parts using technical manuals and tools, ensuring correct installation and functionality.

Routine Inspections: Conducting routine inspections on EWP equipment to identify potential issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and addressing any concerns promptly.

We're looking for those who are resourceful, detailed, action-oriented, embrace the challenge, and communicate clearly.

About you

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience as a Parts and/or Service Technician or in a similar role.

We're open to Auto Electricians, mechanics, etc looking for a career shift.


Additionally, you might have strong technical knowledge of EWP equipment (or similar machinery) and their components, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines.

We require you to have excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.

You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
