Master Auto Care Limited Introduction:

Master Auto Care Limited, established in 2010, provides panel beating as well as mechanical and electrical services in the Auckland region.

We are currently seeking to hire Automotive Electrician to join our team.

Key Task & Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:
Using specialized test equipment, diagnose electrical and electronic malfunctions in vehicles.
This includes identifying issues with faulty sensors, wiring, computer systems, and other electrical components.

Repair and Replacement:
Dismantle and remove faulty electrical and electronic assemblies and components.
Install new electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles.
Test and replace defective parts such as alternators, generators, voltage regulators, starter motors, fuses, lamps, and switches.
Repair and replace faulty ignition and electrical wiring.

Electrical System Maintenance:
Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to the power supply, ensuring proper functionality.
Perform adjustments to engine control systems and timing (in some cases).

The minimum qualification and work experience requirements:

  • Relevant qualification NZQF Level 4 or higher OR
  • At least three years of relevant work experience

Ability to demonstrate professionalism in the workplace at all times
Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems
Being able to work on weekends
