Feisst Electrical is looking to for an experienced BIM Engineer, preferably with services or construction knowledge.

We recognise people with great attitudes that strive to provide value. This role will suit someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and immerse themselves in the business.

You'll have the opportunity to develop systems and structure the way we utilise technology in our designs and operations. One part of the role is the preparation of design and build documents and modelling.

The other part is looking to drive the value of BIM into our day to day operations - providing information to our site teams enabling them to be more efficient, and training our team members.


About the role:

  • Modelling and delivering services design in REVIT.
  • Coordinating the modelling of our building services.
  • Assisting design team with clash detection.
  • Assist site teams with buildability and engineering solutions.
  • Providing design drawings, construction drawings, asbuilt drawings.
  • Ensuring documentation is compliant to relevant industry standards, code of practices and building codes.
  • Attending site and client meetings when required.

Health and Safety:

  • Take reasonable care that your actions or inactions cause no harm to you or others.
  • Actively participate in health and safety matters and processes.
  • Follow safe working instructions.
  • Use protective clothing and equipment as and where required.
  • Report incidents, accidents, near misses and hazards.

What we are looking for:

  • Must have understanding and experience of the construction industry.
  • Must have a minimum 3 years exposure to Revit or similar CAD programme.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Interested in technology and technology best practices
  • Team player that's friendly and approachable
