ULTIMATE CARE PALLISER - WEEKEND COOK

We currently need an experienced

Permanent Part - time Cook on the weekends for our facility Palliser House located in Greytown.

As an important and integral part of our extraordinary team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day running of the kitchen.

You will also be alert and aware of standard proceedings in the kitchen area:
ensuring that excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire kitchen.

We are seeking applicants with the following skills:

  • Assisting and preparation of food and meals to a high standard
  • Experience in a commercial setting preferable
  • Able to work weekends
  • Able to work unsupervised and cope with a large workload
  • Cleaning up food preparation areas and kitchens
  • Handling food deliveries
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (167/168)
  • We offer training


We need a dedicated, reliable person who has a passion for working with the elderly and a passion for working with great food.

You must be willing to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week
