The opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse, who has a keen interest in educating our future nursing workforce.

The knowledge and skills that you have acquired in your nursing career to date, will be instrumental in guiding learners throughout their own undergraduate nursing studies.

In addition, having nursing experience in any area of mental health, acute medical / surgical or primary health nursing practice will give you an opportunity to use your skills and share your experience to pass on to the next generation of nurses.

Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor of Nursing degree essential
  • Have Registration with the Nursing Council of NZ as a Registered Nurse and a Current Practising Certificate
  • Hold a relevant master's degree or have a professional development plan in place to complete a master's degree within four years
  • Complete an adult teaching and learning qualification within two years of appointment
  • A minimum of 3 years post registration experience
  • Research active.
