Te Whatu Ora I Te Toka Tumai has four adult community mental health centres (CMHCs): Manaaki House (Panmure), Cornwall House (Greenlane), Taylor Centre (Ponsonby) and Kainga Tiaki (Mt Eden).
Professionally, you will have many opportunities to develop and specialise as well as receiving on-going support/ mentoring from highly experienced clinicians.
The community mental health teams provide a comprehensive range of therapeutic treatment options in collaboration with service users, their families/whānau, and local communities.
This is achieved through the assessment and management of the complex health needs of service users, with the provision of effectively planned, episodic care that supports them to manage their overall healthcare needs along with home-based treatment options available.
We are located close to the University of Auckland Medical School and there is the chance to become involved in the formal teaching programme and supervise medical students on placement in our services.

You will also have experience and interest in providing a high-quality service to service users experiencing moderate to severe mental ill-health in a community setting and a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori is essential in this role.
