My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative hot runner solutions to the plastics industry worldwide.

About the role:

  • You will be required to be program, set and operate CNC machinery, specifically lathe.
  • Produce daily and weekly production to specific drawings and quality requirements.
  • Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of plant and equipment.
  • Report on production progress, production recoveries and efficiency.
  • Assist with the implementation of product and processes.

About you:

  • You will be skilled and proficient in the use of multitasking turning centres.
  • Have several years' experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of various QC equipment and QA principles.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • CNC tooling knowledge.
  • Hold a Trade Certificate or time served in Machining, Toolmaking or related trade.
  • Have physical dexterity and an eye for detail.
  • Have a good command of the English language.

Benefits:

***On offer is a competitive hourly wage along with long term career opportunities. 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, afternoon shift, 2:00pm - midnight. OT is offered after 45 hours and paid at time and a half. Shift allowance of $30.00 per day and all PPE is provided, including boots, with medical insurance after 6-months.
