The Role:


This is a fixed-term, full time role, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching faults staff to various locations for maintenance and repair work.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely response to customer requests and the smooth operation of our faultpersons team.


You will also:

  • Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from customers.
  • Coordinate and dispatch fault staff to assigned locations based on urgency, proximity, and skillset.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with fault staff, providing necessary information, directions, and updates.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing service calls and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Track and document all service requests, ensuring accurate and uptodate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle any escalations or issues that arise during service calls, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve dispatching processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • Level 2 NCEA
  • Previous 25 years' experience in a dispatching role, preferably in a maintenance or repair field.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using dispatching software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in highpressure situations.
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Knowledge of geographical areas and routes.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.
