The collaborative HR team of this well-known, commercial and fast paced manufacturing business are on the lookout for a new HR Advisor to join them.

Get right in among the team on the factory floor, coaching and building relationships with line managers to help them reach good business outcomes.

What you'll be involved in
This is the HR Advisor role with plenty of variety that you're looking for.

Reporting to a supportive HR Manager, you'll manage your own portfolio and provide coaching to managers on disciplinary and performance issues, helping to build their skills as people leaders.

This generalist role will also see you work on L&D, rem and recruitment.

Based in Mangere, your client group are a mix of office based and factory workers, so you'll enjoy the diversity of people and HR issues that arise.

There is also the opportunity to work on projects and change initiatives and support upcoming collective bargaining.

Skills, experience and approach you'll bring

Confident, keen to grow and with a desire to roll up your sleeves and get involved, you're looking for your next challenge.

You'll already have some HR advisory experience, including solid end to end ER case management, and be keen to further expand your skill set.

This is a unionised environment with one CEA in place with one union, so ideally you have exposure to interpreting collective agreements and working through issues with union delegates.

Strong relationship building and influencing skills, and a genuine, down to earth approach, will set you up to succeed in this operational HR role.

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to have the right to work in New Zealand.
