About the opportunity


Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, your role will be essential in providing expert advice and guidance in supporting robust financial decisions at Rātā Foundation.


In doing this, you will:

  • Utilise financial data and modelling to support decisionmaking and effectively communicate insights to the wider organisation.
  • Optimise trust investments, engage with fund managers and provide highlevel advice for superior performance.
  • Support sound investment decisions, analyse risk, and evaluate new opportunities.
  • Deliver financial and investment analysis to support informed decisions and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Assist the CFO in financial reporting, cash flow management, and annual audits.
  • Ensure efficient financial systems operation and contribute to strategic planning projects.

About you
The Finance and Investment Analyst is ideally chartered or on your way towards becoming chartered.

Naturally, you will be inherently confident with all things financial, and your expertise and insights will be essential in supporting decisions made at an organisational level.

You are confident, ready to hit the ground running, can bring drive and energy to the finance space, and are known as someone who can bring innovative solutions to the table - you like to challenge the status quo


You will be a problem solver driven to think through financial questions before making big decisions on an extensive investment portfolio.

You are naturally curious; you are someone who likes to get into the details and who knows the right questions to ask Furthermore, you are someone who can take your findings and offer guidance and advice across the portfolio.

You are a finance professional who is genuinely enthusiastic about making a difference in communities across Aotearoa.

You thrive in a social working environment and one where you share a real value alignment, you take an inclusive approach in all you do, and you are someone who understands the true value of relationships.
