ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 23+ years' relevant industry experience in software, digital or web development
  • Experience with the Silverstripe and/or Laravel frameworks
  • Experience with Javascript and frontend frameworks such as React and Vue
  • Experience with cloud platforms such AWS, Azure or Google
  • Experience with GraphQL API implementations
  • Experience with automated API testing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of source control (Git) and build systems such as Webkit or Vite
  • Good understanding of release automation tools and scripting languages (CI/CD, DevSecOps)
  • Knowledge of performance and optimisation, best practices and industry standards
  • Knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and design techniques
  • Knowledge of edge computing platforms (Vercel functions/middleware, Netlify functions, Cloudflare functions/workers etc) is desirable
  • Knowledge of shell scripting and Linux server administration is desirable
  • Knowledge of OpenAPI, SOAP, OData, JSON data object principals is desirable
  • Knowledge of OWASP top 10 principles is desirable
  • Some knowledge of microservices development patterns and practices is desirable
