Treasury Analyst

He aha te mahi? What's the role?:
This is a new position at Zespri, and a great opportunity to start your career in Treasury.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with the Treasury Team to manage Zespri's short term cash liquidity and assist with the Foreign Exchange hedging portfolios.

Your key responsibilities, with direction from the Treasury Operations Lead, will include;

• Model and review daily, weekly, and monthly cashflow models with actuals and forecasts for Zespri Group to ensure cash is available at all times
• Make daily bank account and money market transactions
• Execute FX transactions as required to ensure bank account balances remain positive and within policy guidelines
• Liaise with other departments within Zespri on cashflow and FX requirements
• Assist in Generating FX exposures and deliver results to business partners as required
• Assist as required in testing and setup of different banking payment methods, bank statement processes between SAP and banking framework
• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of bank accounts, and all required documentation to ensure that Zespri complies with Global AML regulations
• Attend and record minutes and action items of all Treasury Management Committee (TMC) meetings throughout the year
• Liaise with internal and external audit teams for financial year end processes
• Assist Treasury Operations Lead with annual debt facility renewal and onboarding of new banking partners

You will meet the following selection criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
• Graduate or 12 years' experience in a Treasury/Accounting/Finance function desirable
• A knowledge of banking systems and payment method, to ensure funds are moved around the globe in the most efficient manner
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, with Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience with SAP or any other online banking services is desirable
