Job Description:

Split position on daily basis. Part 1. 38 — 50% of the day, Part % of the day.


Part 1 as per QA Support "To assist with the running of the Business Unit primarily by way of providing quality control and quality assurance tasks and services to QSE and production departments.

This is a production support role and is pivotal to the smooth running of the business unit.

Time will be divided between conducting First off Sample and Last off Sample checks and approval; regular QC checks; measurement checks as required; and any additional activities to support the QSE department.

Part 2 Support QSE Manager in all Quality, Safety and Environmental activities. Examples are performing audits for ISO, Customers, performing customer quality investigations and reporting direct to customers in some instances.

All activities will be carried out in a safe and efficient manner as directed by the QSE Manager.

Workstations and surrounding areas are to be kept in a clean and safe condition and any other duties as directed are to be completed.


ESSENTIAL

  • Manufacturing background
  • Quality Assurance experience

DESIRABLE

  • Industrial Products and Packaging experience
  • Strong character, ability to stand by decisions & resist external pressure.
