BUILDING ELECTRON AT ROCKET LAB:

Rocket Lab's Electron team is responsible for building, testing, and launching our Electron rocket across our launch sites and test facilities in the United States and New Zealand. Electron is one of the world's most frequently-launched rockets, and our team behind its success are diligent, move fast, and have each others' back to deliver a reliable rocket to the launch pad time and time again.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

A Senior Development Engineer at Rocket Lab is responsible for owning product upkeep, and are given a design or test focused role assigned by management. A Senior Engineer has allocated scope to perform independent engineering decisions across and outside the direct team in the best interest of the company. Risk, cost or quality based decisions are identified and mitigated early with regular guidance being provided to the rest of the team.

YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience from previous employment that meets engineering
experience title and skillsHas demonstrated skills within the rocket industry where applicable to
deliver required company outcomesProven track record of technically steering a team to deliver multiple
complete and successful engineering projects from conception to
operation6 years industry experienceEngineering degreeExperience working with two or more of the analysis types below to
