TRT are currently on the hunt for a Warehouse Store Person to join our team.

You will be working as part of a small team, primarily ensuring that both Inwards and Outwards Goods tasks are handled efficiently, with a focus on meeting the needs of our customers at all times.

This would suit someone who enjoys a fast paced work environment, is team focused and goal orientated.

We are TRT, market leaders of heavy transport trailers, mobile cranes and specialised equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to be employed by a long-standing and successful company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and taking responsibility of the day to day activities in a busy warehouse environment
  • Ensuring both inwards and outwards goods are handled efficiently
  • Play a key role in inventory control and stock take
  • Daily orders, stock orders, returns for credit, transfers
  • Efficient and effective management of inwards and outwards goods
  • Receipting goods into our ERP system

Applicants for this position will need:

  • Enthusiasm, energy, with a positive attitude and an ability to learn
  • To have an interest in the automotive and heavy transport industries
  • Be physically fit to move a range of parts on a daily basis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to follow existing procedures and adapt to new procedures to ensure timely delivery of objectives
  • Experience in a warehousing operation
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight timelines
  • The chance to be part of a progressive team that has the customer front of mind
  • Work well in a Team environment
  • MS Office suite experience is preferred
  • Willingness to continue learning
  • Strong awareness of conducting all activities and tasks with safety in mind
  • Be a results driven team member able to perform tasks independently that operates with honest and integrity
  • Current NZ class 1 drivers license
  • F endorsement and Forklift Operators Certificate would be an advantage
