ABOUT THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE SUPPORT WORKER ROLE:

  • Previous experience working with youth, challenging behaviours or social care setting.
  • Current MAPA/SPEC/CPI certification or similar is preferred
  • Current CPR, Basic Life Support or First Aid Certification preferred
  • Be reliable, motivated and have a positive can do attitude
  • Be able to work at least 2 shifts per week on an ongoing basis
  • Be able to work afternoon and/or night shifts
  • Be Medication Competent
- must have

  • Have a full NZ drivers license must have

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE HCA | CAREGIVER ROLE:

  • Have had a minimum of 6 months Aged Care experience
    OR:
  • Hold an overseas Nursing Registration
  • Current CPR, Basic Life Support or First Aid Certification preferred
  • Be able to work at least one shift over the weekend
  • Be able to work at least 2 shifts per week on an ongoing basis
  • Be able to work afternoon and/or night shifts
  • Must Be competent in all aspects of manual handling including the use of a hoist.
