Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga is this country's lead agency for the identification, protection, preservation and conservation of our historic and cultural heritage.

There is a vacancy for an experienced Resource Management Act (RMA) planner for Auckland, Hauraki Thames Coromandel and Northland areas based in our Auckland office.

Some travel within these areas will be required.


This position provides a real opportunity to make a major contribution as part of Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga's Northern Regional team in promoting the protection and conservation of New Zealand's important heritage places in the region.

Your RMA planning expertise, personality and creativity will complement the committed multidisciplinary team of heritage specialists in our team.

A tertiary qualification in planning with work experience in the Resource Management Act is required.
