ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client started up in business 10 years ago and provides broadband options to rural based clients who often miss out.

They offer a number of services and are known for providing great value and service to all customers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for suitable applicants to complement our existing team in Christchurch to support the ISP network primarily, to enhance the capability of the business and provide outstanding customer, contractor and team support.

This is a salary position, based on experience and capability, Minimum hours are 42.5 per week.

ABOUT YOU

• Networking, Routing & Firewalling
• Administering business networks and hardware solutions.
• ISP / WISP experience
• Radio PtMP and PtP experience
• Sales or customer facing service experience is required, you will need to be able competently speak to customers
• Have installation experience (cabling, router/switch, roof mounting of equipment etc.)
• Fit and able to carry out field work were required
• Basic understanding of DC power or power in general
• Fantastic communication skills
• Efficient operator with the ability to prioritize workflow, work with urgency and deliver on time
• Able to work autonomously and within a team

The successful applicant will have a broad range network engineering skills with a keen ISP interest and background and interest in WISP and wireless technology.
