  • Fixed Term Contract 12 months
  • Administration, phone calls, assisting with clinics
  • THINK Hauora's Immunisation team need you to assist with boosting Child Immunisations throughout the MidCentral Region.
  • We are looking for an Immunisation Administrator in Palmerston North to assist our Childhood Immunisation team to be available for the following:
A Fixed Term Contract starting asap for 12 months

  • Available to work a minimum of 24 hours to 32 hours per week (we are flexible, let's talk)
  • You will have the flexible and availability to complete evening work (6pm 8pm) and weekend work (Sat/Sun) as and when required
  • Full clean Driver's Licence
  • Willing to undertake CPR Training (1 day of training)
  • Confident contacting people over the telephone
  • Confident in using MS Office Suite and learning new systems
  • Eg. Practice Management System (PMS)
  • High level of confidentiality and excellent telephone manner
  • What you will do:
You will join the Immunisation team here at THINK Hauora to assist with Childhood Immunisation Administration

  • You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone to telephone, check, record and book childhood immunisations, all from a database (ideally, you'll make calls during the day but mostly after hours to reach people (as such, you will need a home internet connection, but you'll be provided with all the necessary tools)
  • Inform people of upcoming immunisation clinics, book immunisations, assist with administration, assist with onsite clinics/ attend home & remote visits you will work with an Immunisation Nurse
- **You will be required to be vaccinated as per the Vaccinations Order 2021.
