Our Citycare Water Auckland Team has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer with an interest in supporting our water construction business and small waters.

This role is a dual role between 2 businesses within Citycare Water.

The successful applicant will be exposed to many different facades where they will be exposed to areas within the business.

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the operations team to ensure consistent and relevant support systems are in place to ensure profitability and sustainability of contracts and projects

Duties will include:

  • Monthly KPI reporting and claim processing
  • Subcontractor management
  • Scoping of jobs and providing estimates for approval
  • Liaison with clients
  • Assisting in staff management
  • Day to day planning and programming
  • Quality control

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience coordinating projects within a similar environment and hold a recent NZQA Level 7 Engineering Graduate (Civil) with an interest in Water Infrastructure
  • Selfmotivator with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Computer savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write reports and interact with clients
  • Keen eye for detail and attitude to learn
  • Solutions focused and with a 'can do attitude', looking to provide effective valueadded outcomes for our customers
