We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operator to carry out our day-to-day warehouse operations.

This role has a high focus on safety and quality; ensuring our standards and processes are understood and adhered to, to support the health of our people and the quality of our product.


You will play a key role in our inventory management, continuous improvement projects to increase warehouse efficiency and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct inventory checks to ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and focus on minimising discrepancies and losses
  • Champion health, safety and quality across the breadth of the warehouse operations
  • Work alongside suppliers and 3PL provider using consistent communication and collaboration
  • Work collaboratively with planning and production teams to ensure materials are ready in accordance with production schedules and demand forecasts
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on increasing efficiency within the warehouse
  • At times, supervise contractors working within the warehouse, ensuring a positive and productive working environment

Qualifications:

For this role as a Warehouse Operator, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Current fork hoist /counter balance /reach license
  • Proven experience within warehousing environments
  • Experience in inventory management and have coordinated both inbound and outbound activities
  • Familiar with health, safety and quality systems and protocols within a food manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • You hold valid and unrestricted New Zealand working rights

This is a permanent full-time position based in our production site in East Tamaki, New Zealand. You will work 8 hours per day from Monday to Friday.
