About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurse to join our
Cardiac Catheter Labs
and Cardiology Day Unit team on a fixed term, part time 0.9FTE basis.

Our unit currently has two cath labs and planning is underway to expand the service which will include a third cath lab, resulting in changes in our models of care.


  • Fixed term dates from April 17th, through to October 22nd 2023. Potential to extend to
stay on beyond the Fixed term end date in view of our service expansion.

  • Cardiology or medical experience
  • Passionate about providing advanced clinical care and nursing expertise to the patients and their families/whanau.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of competency in nursing Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
  • Registered with the
Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate

  • Ability to work
rostered shifts in a multidisciplinary team

  • Exceptional clinical skills and knowledge
  • Interpersonal skills and building relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
