The Pitch.

With brands we all know and love, our sales team are busy selling our products in the market but need a fantastic team behind them to get our brands on to the shelves and into your hands Our merchandising teams work tirelessly behind the scenes to lead the execution of our products in the market and develop strong relationships with our valued Grocery customers.

It takes a lot of planning, organising and attention to detail to ensure that this all runs smoothly, that we are providing exceptional service to our customers and consumers - this is where our Merchandising Manager steps up

The Role.

As a Merchandising Manager in our Grocery channel, you will be responsible for a team of around 40 merchandisers across South Island to ensure your team has our brands looking exceptional in the market.

It is a hands-on role, so at times you will be out in the trade with your team and peers and certainly not afraid to get your hands dirty The role includes recruitment with a large element of planning where you will be needed to organise your teams rosters, timesheets and budgeting.

You will need to lead the way with the Health & Safety practices at Coca Cola Europacific Partners NZ, as you will be responsible for the training and induction of new Merchandisers to our team, not to mention coaching the existing team on better ways of working keeping safety and wellbeing at the forefront There is an element of overnight travel, but with your superior planning skills, this is typically scheduled in by you.


You will be no stranger to building superb relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, as you will not only be dealing with your team, but with our customers also.

Given the 24/7 nature of our business we are looking for an individual who is comfortable with managing flexible hours which can include weekends.

But you are the master of your timetable

What Do I Need?

Energy, drive, and adaptability With your natural ability to lead, coach and develop a team, you will be the go-to person for our merchandisers and will confidently facilitate their roles.

You will have excellent communication skills, and the desire and passion to success in this role.


With your high levels of efficiency, you will be able to effectively manage the administrative side of the role, as well as the practical training and development elements with your team.


On top of this, you will have a customer-focused approach that will successfully enable you to drive your customers and entire territory towards success.

You will be resilient, adaptable - and given the fast pace of our business, you will be able to effectively think on your feet.

Responsible for creating and managing rosters, MS Office skills will certainly come in handy
