ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist is a key role responsible for designing, managing, and developing a suite of BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making within the organisation.

The specialist will have a high level of technical expertise and will be responsible for managing data connections to the BI platform (Civis) and data warehouse, enabling dashboard automation and real-time reporting solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the existing Civis dashboards
  • Maintain data structures and build required data tables within the data warehouse to allow for effective insights, reporting and insights visualisation
  • Build new and maintain existing regular reporting automations and Civis data synchronisations and connections with other platforms
  • Ensure dashboard information is fully accessible to users through well designed visualisations
  • Maintain existing internal and external API connections with vendors and lead in the implementation of new API connections as needed

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced knowledge of
    SQL:
  • Advanced knowledge of
    Python:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role
  • Experience working with data warehouses and implementing data structures
  • Experience with
    Civis or other similar data partners
